Help me to forgive, just as You forgive me. Renew my spirit with Your tender mercy, so I can continue to intercede from a place of love, not bitterness or anger, as I wait for my prodigal daughter to come home.

157. Surrender to Providence

Sovereign Lord, like St. Monica, I’ve poured out countless tears and prayers for my child. I surrender my desire for a specific outcome or timeline into Your divine providence. I know You work all things for good for those who love You, as Romans 8:28 reminds me. Grant me deep peace in this surrender, knowing You are orchestrating every detail for my daughter’s ultimate good and Your glory.
